Hysterosalpingography in Relation to Pregnancy



Abstract
A clinical survey was made on the series of 24 in 78 cases of women with the infertility for 6 years, who were able to be followed up after H.S.G. in order to study the relation of H.S.G. to the frequency of pregnancy comparing with the non-pregnant women at obstet & gynec department of Han-I1 Hospital from Jan. 1966 to Dec. 1971. The results were obtained as follows.
1) The incidence of the pregnancy after H.S.G. was 30.7%.
2) Age distribution showed the high frequency of pregnancy in young age group. 3) The shorter in the duration of the infertility the higher pregnancy rate.
4) In consideration of parity, null parity was. Highest- rate of pregnancy, next ¢¥was the
null parity with history of abortion.
5) Most women in pregnancy group was pregnant within three months after H.S.G.
6) The great majorities of the bilateral patency of the fallopian tubes showed the highest pregnancy rate.
7) The incidence of the premature labor, abortion and ectopic pregnancy was 25.2%.
